JP Chandler was James P Chandler born Sept 1855 in Georgia to James M. And Lucinda Womack Chandler. He died 7 Jan 1912 . He is buried at Whitton Cemetery, Whitton, Mississippi, Arkansas. His wife and son William Robert are also buried there. His wife's name was Narah Ann Wade 1865-1936, they married 1881. His children were Leola, Ada, Jessie, Wm Robert and Ella. In 1910 he was also raising his granddaughter Irene Oliver 2, and grandson Harris Smith 1 year old.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 99th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
