Reflections for Police Officer Bradley Ryan Jones

Brad,
though i did not know you on a personal level, I knew you. I know the in and out and daily grind of being a beat officer.

It never gets easier to say goodbye to a fellow officer. When the news came out over our dispatch that a Glendale officer was down, I stopped right where I was. I spent a few seconds praying for healing to surround you. I switched by attention directly towards any and all family members that you might have had. I pray that Cindy and the kids feel the ever lasting love and comfort of a God who sometimes doesnt make any sense to us.

Brad,
Like so many before you, and those unknown that will follow, you died too young but from stories ive heard the old saying is true, "The good die young"

Thank you Brad. You will never be forgotten. Your family will survice this with the help of a super natural power i pray that embraces them. They will miss you im sure, we will take care of them.

Officer
Phoenix Police.

Officer Jones, I salute you, sir. You have fought the good fight, now you can rest. We shall pick up your torch and continue the battle between good and evil. We shall prevail because rough men like you stand ready to do violence on behalf of those we serve. Watch over us from heaven; we will carry on your watch and guard the streets of hell. We have the watch. Rest easy now, Officer. You have earned it. May God hold and keep your friends and family in His loving arms in this, their time of need.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Officer Jones. I recently had the privilege of working with members of the Glendale Police Department and Arizona State University on a Smart Policing Initiative grant. I observed firsthand the high caliber of people employed by the Glendale Police Department. Officer Jones' sacrifice in the line of duty exemplifies the high qualities demanded of the job. It must have been an honor to have worked with him. May he rest in peace.

I am sorry to see that Officer Jones has passed away. I met him at a training mission. I first met him when he got lost and found us in the kitchen. He was so nice we got him where he needed to be. that afternoon my staff and myself were in the herb garden picking herbs for a officer when he came over and started joking with us about the herbs . He had a great attitude we were just laughing about hes jokes. We are so sorry that a scum of the earth has taken him from us. RIP OFFICER BRAD
