To the family, friends and co-workers of Officer Terry Lewis-Fleming, please receive my most heart felt compassion & deepest sympathy for your loss.
It is certainly during these very dificult times that we must maintain our whole weight in faith on Jesus Christ and know that we need only call upon the Holy Spirit to comfort our hearts and carry us through what seems to be the darkest of midnight hours.
Officer Terry Lewis-Fleming was a true & genuine servant leader who will be missed by the community, the Albany Police Department, her family and friends but let it be remembered with a smile that all of the lives she touched are a little better because she spent 13,140 days here with us.

This is even hard to write down. I still can't believe Terry is gone. I remember working these beats (6-10)(Southside)with Terry. Whenever you was dispatched to a call and Terry would be on that shift it was no doubt in anybody mind on whether they would have had back up cause Terry was always there no matter what the situation would be. Terry is gone but will never be forgotten. APD would never be the same without that precious smile. May God Continue to Bless your family and the APD family. You were laid to rest doing something you loved which was to serve and protect your community. You're in a better place now Terry. See you on the other side.
