No starry sky and the darkest of night

Memories of family as I lay in fright

"I can hear you calling Lord, is it time to fly?"

"Yes My Son spread your wings and come ahigh."

"My body wont move but I feel my spirit is strong."

"Yes My Son in a higher place is where you now belong."

"But Father I have so much that I have left undone."

"None of that matters for I will take care of what is yours My Son."

"My family, My friends, will they not be filled with such despair?"

"My Son memories of happier times will always be there."

"I have always trusted in you My Lord to never lead me astray

And for all my brothers-in-arms I now pray."

"Yes My Son and their prayers for you fill your spirit with life

So that your memory on earth can help ease their strife."

"In time their faith will guide them to you

but now your time has come to begin anew."

"With these wings I can lift my soul

so that I now may fulfill my highest goal."

"Friends and family, your faith will bring you through

and even in passing you will remember me as I will remember you."
