Officer Wargo was my DARE teacher in the 6th grade. 12 years later, I still remember all of the lessons he taught my class. I remember him as a kind and funny man who genuinely cared about others (especially us kids, at the time). He went above and beyond to ensure that we all grew up to be responsible, caring citizens who made the right decisions in life. His is a life to be honored and remembered always. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

I dont think anyone can disagree that Joe made you smile and forget whatever was going on when he came around with his big heart, bright smile, loud laugh, and even bigger voice lol. Its rare to come across a person like Joe, he truely is one of a kind and will be greatly missed by everyone. God bless the MTAPD and his fellow brothers in blue. Sadly, our Country has lost another one of America's finest, a true hero. I'm writing on behalf of many civilians, who recognize the risks you take, the sacrifices you and your families endure, to protect the Constitutional Rights and Individual Freedoms we are blessed to experience.
