Heavenly Father, We come to you in a special hour of need. Please help this wife and her family to be able to accept what has happen. We don't always understand why but Lord you are our answer. Supply this family and friends and his brother and sisters of his law enforcement family with peace, comfort, and contentment. Thank you Father for all these things we ask, we do so in Jesus name we pray, Amen....
Officer Slot died doing what he enjoyed doing. Being a police officer. More than that he died protecting the citizens he was sworn in to do. He is a HERO of this nation. We honor you and we salute you. We want to thank your family for supporting you. Without men like you we could never feel safe or free.

My prayers go out to Kim Slot and all of the family. Her husband is a hero saving many lives by giving his own. I know only too well how much it hurts when a loved one is murdered. The pain is great but remember that you are not alone. God is closest to you in times like this. Make sure you lean on Him.
A big THANK YOU to all law enforcement officers that risk their lives for the rest of us by protecting us.

My thoughts and prayers go out the this mans family and friends, being from the same community he is from I know first hand the honorable men and women we are so lucky to have in the Walker Police Dept. I am saddened and angry all at the same time that such evil people exsist in this world who did this. May his family find peace in the days to come, once loved is never forgotten.

We praise our Great God for the men and women who place their lives on the line each and every day to serve and protect our citizens, communities, and country. My son worked with Officer Slot, and has shared the professionalism and goodness of this officer, as well as the family health struggles. There is no current earthly answer to this other than the fact that our God has a plan. There is no greater sacrifice than when one lays down their life in the service and/or protection of another or others. We are thankful for the time, however short, that Officer Slot served. May God rest his soul, and bless his loved ones, friends, and fellow officers.
