I don't think these men and women get enough credit for the dangerous job they have. They almost always encounter people breaking the law while these people are armed.
I feel aweful for the loss this man's family and friends must be feeling right now. But you Sir will always be remembered for your honorable duty and sacrifice.
Rest in Peace Sergeant Stuckey.

For Sergeant Paul Stuckey:
The game & fish law officer faces all the perils that other law officers face during their shift, and included is the fact that most of the persons they encounter are armed. Confronting game violators in night is especially hazardous and we regret that our brother Paul would be the latest statistic among we who enforce our laws.
We pray for Paul's family, friends, co-workers, and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.
We are proud to render Sgt. Paul Stuckey, a soldier-of-the-law, a final salute.

Sgt. Stuckey was a good man and a good brother in-law to me. It is a very hard time for all of us in the family but it is hardest for his wife and three children. My wife (Sgt. Stuckeys wives sister) and I have them in our thoughts and prayers. Sgt. Stuckey lived as a hero and went out the same way. God bless him and his family and god bless the United States of America.
