My heart cries for you and your family. Reading these reflections and looking at your picture anyone can see what a tremendous human being you were. I am so very sorry for what happend to you but I do think that it is of some comfort to YOU that you died doing what you loved to do.
I hope you can punch a hole thru this world and let your family know that you are safe from harm and their angel now.

Bryan this is a tough one, I would have never thought to ever see your name come across this site but it has and it did with the sacrifice you gave so that justice prevails. I remember when I was young and worked a fatal vehicle crash where it seemed liked we worked on a victim for hours out in the county before EMS arrived, I remember our talk we had after that incident of which made my decision on the lifestyle I wanted to live for the rest of my life, law enforcement. I will never forget that and all the times you let me ride with you and the opportunities that opened up for me because of your words of wisdom for myself and my career. You have always told me to do the right thing no matter what the consequences may be. Thank you Bryan, I will never forget you. We have your watch from here brother.

Words can't express how much I already miss Bryan. I first worked with Bryan when I started at the ND State Penn in 2002 and always looked up to him. For the past 3.5 years Bryan and I have worked on the same patrol shift. Today I have been reflecting on the many calls and traffic stops he and I shared over that time. Smiles are brought to my face but at the same time I shed tears as I know I will miss him dearly. R.I.P. brother I will never forget!

My heart goes out for you and your family Brian. You are and always will be a good friend of mine. You were one of my first
training officers at NDDOCR. I learned from you how to be serious, compassionate, funny, but most of all how to not let the job wear you down. I could not be anymore excited to hear that we would be co-workers again when you took the Deputy position. You are a wonderful man who passed away doing what you loved and that can only make your death easier to accept.
You will be missed deeply
