I had the honor of working with him at Ala Moana Security, then watched him get through the Academy, he prayed for me when I got deployed to Iraq, sent me care packages to the desert to make me feel at home even for just a minute. Welcomed me when I came back in a stretcher. Been there always to remind me to stay close to God, was the inspiration to a lot of us from Ala Moana Security to join the Department. A loving son to his dad, a faithful husband to his wife, a caring dad to his kids, and a humurous grandfather to his daughters kid. He is a true hero in our hearts.
