Kevin, you are an example of what we aim to be as a person and a public servant. It is a real loss for this community, but we will carry on your amazing influence. You were one of the first to welcome me into this family, and reinforced that feeling everyday. You went above and beyond to have my back, to guide me, and to help me push for my goals. Although it has been many years since I had seen you, I still remember the young man that worked in the Calhoun County Jail. Those were the good old days. You were always quick to help and always had a kind word. It is good to hear that you went on in your career and served well.

You will be missed brother. I want to say thank you for helping me on my journey back to the career I love and missed. You were ALWAYS there to keep me pushing for the goal and to offer any kind of help I needed. Whether it was to help me laugh, or to tell me you would help me in any way needed. I'm going to miss coming in to the office with a "what's up Linz" as well as swaping stories about coaching the kids in baseball. Kevin was a beautiful person to all who knew him. He had a kind and giving heart and I am saddened for the loss and all the love he leaves behind. He was a wonderful father to his daughter Tatum, and to his stepchildren that loved him so much.
