Reflections for Probation Officer Tiffany Danielle Bishop
My sincere condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Officer Bishop. It is extremely saddening to see someone my same age, with the same amount of time on the job as me, already ending their watch. May you rest in eternal peace.

We were "suite" buddies and it now seems so empty without you. I am saddened by our tragic loss - we, the Rome Probation Office, have also lost a family member! A co-worker gave us a windchime in your memory-it was hung in a common area and is a constant reminder to all of us how we were blessed with your sweet spirit, your smile. I MISS YOU TIFFANY B!!

What a special young woman and an outstanding family. In 24 short years, Tiff impacted and touched so very many, she continues to impact folks today, and will continue to positively affect more tomorrow. May God bless and comfort those closest to Tiffany in Rome and the family members where ever they are. It is those like Tiffany Bishop who teach us how to live life to the fullest and give us hope in future generations. They also show us that the most valuable things of life are our relationships with those closest to us. If you haven't found her yet Tiff,,, go find Tara,,, y'all will be best friends I'm pretty sure. You are sooo alike.

Tiffany, your tragic death has struck a cord with law enforcement officers near and far. It had only started for you . . when it ended. Regardless of tenure, you were one of us . . . you chose the path of the warrior and I honor you, your name, and now, your memory. As have so many of us, I have seen too much death . . . many of whom were colleagues . . . all of whom, were young, like you. Yours however, is particularly difficult to comprehend . . . your picture speaks volumes . . I can readily see that you were a ray of sunshine, full of youthful optimism, promise and enthusiasm.
You will be sorely missed Tiffany. Rest easy. With professional love and utmost respect, Jim Crotty (Former Richmond, VA Police Officer).

To the best Lady and friend I have ever known, I will carry your memory, your smile and your greatness with me and carry out your mission until I take my last breath. You are truly an inspiration to all in Law Enforcement. I miss you more than words can express and try as he might, God can never make another individual as special as you. You changed everyone's life that had the pleasure of meeting you.

I am very sorry that this happened. I know that it was an accident, but more precautions have to be taken so this does not happen again.

It takes a person of special quality to deal with offenders on the street, while being professional. You Officer Bishop, were that special person, not only to family members, but to everyone who wears a badge and tries to make a difference in anothers life. May you rest in peace, and may your family keep their faith.
