Officer Busch, you are recognized at last . . . your name will now be added the the National Law Enforcement Officers' Memorial, included with a memorial in the Officer's Down Memorial Page and included with the names of honorable Richmond, VA Police Officers, in the city's monument, recognizing and forever memorializing its heroes. We are all so pleased that you have come out of the shadows and will now be recognized as the hero and warrior that you were.
Finally Richard, we know that you were there . . . we know that you were one of us . . . and we all know that you were murdered as you protected us all. We honor you Sir. Rest easy.
With brotherly love and utmost respect, Jim Crotty, former Richmond, VA Police Officer.
Jim Crotty
ATF Special Agent (Ret.)

Officer Busch, it was an honor to research your service and sacrifice. I alerted the Richmond City Police Department about your death just today, so that you can be added to their memorial, where you belong, with no further delay.
