My family is praying for the family of officer Kenner. We may not have known him the way others do, A "Gentle Giant". But I am sure he has helped us in the past. I hope that his family an co-officers will be able to deal with this in time.
I also hope and pray that the officers, medical staff, family, and friends of Kenner are able to not hold this on the shoulders of the man who did this. They are grieving as well and will never forget. I believe they are also victims and will never forget this incident. Neither will the girlfriend, her child, or the bystanders that were there.
Praying for all of you! Thank you Kenner and all for keeping us all safe. I hope nothing like this happens to any of you again. One of the major reasons people like living in North Dakota was being safe. Love the service that you give everyday! Thank You Very Much to All.

Proverbs 15:25 says; "The Lord will destroy the house of the wicked, But He will establish the border of the widow"
TRUST FOR THE UNKNOWN
The Lord said unto me one day,
"Fear not, My child, I know
The path ahead, and I have planned
The path that you should go!"
But still I faltered, though I knew
In all the years gone by...
He had not failed me even once!
But now, just somehow, I
Lacked faith to trust my little all
into His loving hands;
He drew me close, I heard Him say,
"My child, I understand."
Of all the leasons I have learned
When faith was weak and small,
To trust God for the dark unknown
Is hardest of them all.

When I heard the news this morning, my heart sunk.
Steve was a wonderful person as well as fellow officer.
When my husband had a near fatal motorcycle crash last July Steve was there at the hospital to help me and made sure I took care of myself so I would be able to care for him. My mother passed away only a few short hours after he did, and I feel Steve was there to help greet her at the pearly gates of Heaven.
RIP Steve, and I will always remember your big heart and kind words. You will be deeply missed by many.

Sgt Kenner. You as well as all the fallen sisters and brothers of the badge will not be forgotten for the ultimate sacrifice you all gave as you served and protected us in the War on Crime. You don't have to leave the shores or borders of our nation to be a hero. We enter the battle zone at the beginning of every shift.
Thank you Sgt Kenner for entering that battle zone without remorse. Rest in Peace.
