Bryan,

You're missed, brother. It's strange not running into you in the hall at the station. I always counted on you to tell it like it was, whether it was what I wanted to hear or not. A quality I greatly respected.

This man was a fine officer. On many occassions solved a case from patrol level in which many would have simply taken the report and let the detectives work the case. He truely cared about the community and doing everything he could for the victims.

Bryan thought outside the box alot and this made him a great officer.

Bryan was a funny person with a goofy chuckle. He loved photography and his family. He was a role model. Bryan tell Romy I said Hi! Love you both

Words will never explain the loss for Bryan's family and friends. Bryan was a fine young man and I was blessed to have had the chance to work with him. Always a smile on his face and a pleasure to be around. Bryan will be missed by all that knew him.

A Police Officer approaches the gates of heaven and speaks to St. Peter. The officer tells St. Peter, "I understand if you don't have a place for me in here. I have cried when I should have been strong, ran into trouble situations when no one else would, mourned the loss of a brother, worked nights to let people sleep safely, and did it all with a target on my back. Because of this, I wasn't there for the big events in my children’s lives. I missed church. I used foul language, threatened people, took away their freedom, and may have even taken a life. So I understand if you don't want me here." St. Peter says, "Come on in, Officer, patrol the streets of heaven. You have done your time in Hell."

The Lord is my Sheperd, I shall not want,
His comforting hand reduces fear to naught;
He makes me walk through streets of crime,
But He gives me courage and peace of mind.
He leads me by still waters in the path I trod,
And He says in Romans I'm a "minister of God;"
He leads in Righteousness as he restores my soul,
For His namesake He keeps me whole.
When I walk through death's valley, right up to the door;
I will fear no evil, for he comforts me more;
For Thou art with me every step of the way,
As thy rod and thy staff protect me each day.
He prepares a table, especially for me,
As I work daily among life's enemies;
He gives me authority to uphold the law,
And He annoints my position in the midst of it all.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me,
Each day of my life through eternity;
As long as I hear Him say-"Well done,"
When I lay down my life-my badge and my gun.

Policeman's 23rd Psalm

On Wed Juy 13, 2011 we were returning from a doctor appointment in Port Arthur, and observed the funeral procession for you. My busband and I pulled over and saluted the many police vehicles, fire trucks, and EMS personnel who were in the procession for you. I never met you, but I am hoping that you are at peace with the lord, and my Thoughts and Prayers are with your family, friends, and to the other men and women you worked with at the Beaumont Police Department. GOD BLESS you all.

His Judgment Day:
The officer stood and faced his God, Which must always come to pass. He hoped his shoes were shinning, Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, Officer, How shall I deal with you? Have you always turned the other cheek To my church have you been true?"
The officer squared his shoulder and said, "No, Lord, I guess I aint, Because those of us who carry badges can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays, And at times my talk was rough, And sometimes I've been violent Because the streets are tough.
But I never took a penny That wasn't mine to keep.. Though I worked a lot of overtime, when the bills got too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help Though at times I shook with fear. And sometimes, God forgive me, I've wept an unmanly tear.
I know I don't deserve a place among the people here. They never wanted me around except to calm their fear.
If you've a place for me here, Lord, it needn't be so grand. I never expected or had too much, But if you don't...I'll understand.
There was silence all around the throne, where the saints often trod. As the officer waited quietly for the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, Officer. You've borne your burdens well. Come walk a beat on heaven's streets, You've done your time in hell"
