I'm sitting here thinking about this Officer and wondering once again..Why?

His wife, children, family and fellow officers are in shock right now and there are no words that will comfort them.

The news of Officer Tim Warren's death was the first news I received this morning. I would rather have heard that he captured the suspect or made a huge drug bust. Then I could smile.

Every time I get the news that another one of the Blue line has joined the ever growing Force in Heaven...memories rush in of another precious officer who died in 1999.

Captain Robbie Bishop, Villa Rica, GA PD. EOW January 20th 1999.

He was a friend of mine. And although I've not had the honor of meeting Officer Tim Warren, I know we would have been friends.

To the family and fellow officers of this fine man, all those who serve and protect will hold you in their hearts and thoughts as you go through this impossibly difficult time.

You will see Tim again. There is no death or separation in Heaven. May the God of peace comfort you with the knowledge that others are grieving with you during this tragic time.

Thank you Officer Warren for the ultimate sacrafice for your fellow man. Your memory will never die because your family and fellow officers will remember you and the sacrifice you made for us for years to come. My prayers are with your wife, children, partents and fellow officers. It brings back memories of seven years ago when my son, Lt. Greg Medlin, with the DeSoto County Sheriff Department gave his life for our safety. My life will never be the same and I know it will be the same for your family. May Giod bless you and your family.
