To Deputy Pagerly's family and his Police family please accept our deepest condolences in your loss. Five short years ago this November, we lost one of our own in the line of duty. There is still a void in our personal lives, as well as our Department, that cannot be filled. Deputy Pagerly and our Detective David Petzold are the TRUE HEROES! May they both be resting in peace and watching over their brothers and sisters in the law enforcement world. May God Bless the Berks County Sheriff's Dept. and give them the strength to get through this difficult time. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all. To Mrs. Pagerly may you be blessed with love and care from all who surround you. You are in our hearts forever. The Upper Saucon Township Police Department

Rest in Peace, Kyle. You were an inspiration to so many people and I truly pray that so many young men and women who saw you, knew you, and were served by you have been inspired to make the world better by serving as you did. There are no words to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice. God bless you and comfort your family and loved ones. They are all in our prayers.

For Deputy Sheriff Kyle Pagerly:
The duty of the law officer, no matter his agency nor his assignment, is fraught with risk merely by having to enforce the law - the routine can turn deadly in seconds and no amount of preparation can guarantee our safety. We regret learning of Kyle's death while performing his duty. He will be remembered as a proud and noble soldier-of-the-law.
We pray for Kyle's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach out to one another in the days ahead.
As a retired state trooper, and Lake County (FL) deputy sheriff, I am proud to render Deputy Sheriff Kyle Pagerly a final salute.

What a horrible tragedy--AGAIN! We lost our hero, PSO Eric Zapata, on April 18, 2011. I believe Eric, along with all the other fallen officers, was there to welcome Kyle into Heaven! From the reflections left by people who knew Deputy Pagerly, it is obvious he was a great man and a wonderful person.
I send my heartfelt condolences to his wife and future child, his parents and siblings and all of his fellow officers and friends. Every night when I put my son to bed we end our prayers with this: "God bless all of the policemen, firemen, and soldiers who keep us safe. Dear Jesus, if you should call one of them home tonight, give them eternal peace and grant their family the strength and courage to carry on. Amen." On June 29, 2011 we unknowingly prayed for Deputy Pagerly. That little prayer gave me a small amount of comfort when I was called in to work the murder of my friend Eric Zapata.
God Bless Deputy Kyle Pagerly and thank you for your life of service!
