Today marks the 14th anniversary of my beloved's homegoing. I look forward to when we will be together.

Carlos and I shared a radio car in the 44 pct in the 80’ s and remained friends as our careers went in separate directions. What a gentleman, good father and a husband to Maureen. A class act who was always concerned about his cops made sure they were safe.

It's going on to be 6 years since God has taken you away from your loving family, and sisters and brothers in blue. Very few people on this Earth leave a good image on one's minds. You were always the professional that I had the privilege of working with at the 34 and at Ground Zero. May you continue to rest my brother, and that you watch over your entire loving family, and us too. Until we meet again.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the second anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I pray for solace for all those who love and miss you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Our nation will never forget any our 9/11 heroes.

Rest In Peace
