Met your son in middle school today. I noticed he was wearing a police shirt. I asked him where he got it. He told me about you. I told him I was at ground zero also....He thanked me for my service. Thought to myself, what a nice boy. I will keep a watch over him for you. RIP Officer.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the third anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. We will never forget any of our 9 11 heroes.

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace. Thanks to your friends for sharing their memories and devotion to you through their reflections.

Rest In Peace.

Mine & Bobby's lockers were right next to each other in TD 34 and we both had boys about the same age & used to look at pictures of each others children that we had hanging in our lockers. We would talk about our children's first milestones and the cute & lovable things they did each day. Bobby was a kind and loving family man, always talking about his wife Tracy & their children. He was a great cop, but an even better father & provider for his family. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. It gives me great pride to say that I knew Bobby Zane, but i'm even prouder to say he was a friend.

Bobby...You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers & you are sorely missed by all. R.I.P. my brother until we meet again.

Bobby always shared good advice with me when my wife and I were starting our family. I remember always his wisdom. All Bobby talked about was Tracy and his family. I miss you every day, Bobby. You are still the greatest of TD-34.
