I had the honor of a brief contact with Officer Kilcullen when my car broke down on Beltline some months ago. He was so caring in my well-being, and very reassuring "that this happens to people all the time. I just want to make sure you aren't hurt in any way, or get hurt by traffic." I am so very saddened by his death. My heartfelt prayers are with his immediate family, and his law enforcement family.

It is with heartfelt sadness that we all mourn the passing of a Brother and American Patriot. He has been called "home" and he is with THE ANGELS" and those who have gone on before us. Officer Kilcullen of the Eugene Police Department, Eugene, Oregon, will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Condolences to the family and friends on their loss...but Heaven rejoices and Heaven's gain. Amen

Chris was my cousin. We are six months apart and grew up together very close. He was the most funny, warm, compassionate person I know. Dedicated husband and father and public servant. Most cannot understand how deep a hole the world has in it today. My heart is broken in pieces and my soul will never be the same.

My condolences to Officer Kilcullen's loved ones and partners. It stings each time we lose another officer. This officer was acting bravely, and stayed with the suspect in hopes of stopping someone from getting hurt. Thank you, Officer Kilcullen for caring enough about your public to have placed yourself between them and this crazed person. You won't be forgotten.
