Reflections for Chief of Detectives Claude H. McDonald
Chief McDonald, it's now been 110 years and you have not been forgotten. In your short 30 years of life, you had a varied law enforcement career and to be made Chief of Detectives at such a young age, it's speaks volumes of your abilities. Thank you for your efforts to help protect one of America's greatest resources, it's railroads.
I am so grateful that the animal who murdered you at least had the decency to admit to his crime before dying. It allowed closure.
God Bless, Brother and may you forever Rest in Peace.

Chief McDonald, you made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting one of America’s greatest assets, its railroads. Your service to this nation has not been forgotten and I thank you for service protecting it in each of the capacities you did. You are truly a hero.
Such a shame that your family lost you and that your three month old child never grew up to know you, but I’m sure that child always felt you close.
God Bless and may you forever Rest in Peace, Brother.
