Tim it has been 13 years since I worked with you, but with the news it hit just as hard. You will be missed and it is officers like you that make me proud to say yes I am a cop and proud of it. As a former Deputy Sheriff I had the Honor of working with Sgt. Chapin. He is an outstanding person and man. I am honored I had the chance to work with and know such a great man. He will sadly missed. My prayers are with his family and all Law Enforcement.

It's tragic when a brother officer pays the ultimate price to protect all of us. Words pale at times like this, they seem hollow, yet there are those of us who truely honor all men and women in uniform, and will never forget those of you who have given everything.
