It is all to often that Police Officers will go out of their way to help a lending hand way beyond the call of duty. None of us know what is around the corner, or what the criminal is thinking. It is all to often that these great heroes loose their life in incidents that were out of their control. It saddens me that these innocent officers had to die in the protection of the innocent. And yet, when we reflect back on these deaths, does the public remeber the Officer. It seems that the family and friend are the one's that do. It also saddens me that I have to come to a web site like this one and read about these heroes that gave their lives for the better of mankind. So to all of the Police Officers owho puit their lives on the line everyday, I salute you for a job well done. We are the people that make this nation safe and free. Remeber that you are the ones that make the difference and that we are all her together. Look out for one another and may god be with you all. Investigator Doherty.

You are a true hero who made the ultimate sacrifice. May the memory of your service, heroism and sacrifice remain forever. May God bless you, your family and brother/sister officers.
