My prayers and sympathy extend to the family of SPO Christian, of SPO Howard and the entire ACCPD family as well.
Mere words can not assuage the grief a family, wife, son and daughter will ever feel for the loss of their loved one. I pray you find peace in knowing Buddy died doing a job he loved, for a community he cared about, and that you know he loved you deeply. May Buddy rest in peace in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior.

Several months ago I was taken my children to school when my car stalled on Atlanta Highway. I was able to coast into the middle turning lane before the car died. Traffic was heavy of course and I immediately turned on my hazard lights and called 911 to ask for an officer to assist until I could have my car towed.
SPO Christian responded to the call and went out of his way to be friendly and helpful while we waited for the tow truck, the entire time having people ignore my hazards and his blue lights - instead pulling in behind me and honking their horns.
I am sure there were many other things SPO Christian could have been doing rather than standing in the middle of Atlanta Highway and telling me not to feel badly about creating a minor traffic jam. He talked about his love of the job, his admiration of his fellow officers, and how much he enjoyed helping the citizens of ACC.
He is truly a hero who was taken much to soon from his family, friends, and department. You are all in my heart and prayers.

Avenue of the Fallen
Standing at attention in their class “A“ uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place. As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say its ok you’re with your eternal partners. A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.

My deepest condolences to the CHRISTIAN family. I do not KNOW you, but...since I have a SON in Law Enforcement...I just feel that we are ALL ONE FAMILY. I know that Buddy died doing what he loved doing....otherwise...he would not be in this field of work. He was just too young to die rite now. I just DREAD the day that I get that call or visit. My Son works about 3 - 4 HRS away from me. I try to talk to him every few days, as, in this line of work...one never knows. Just KNOW that you have people like ME PRAYING for you & your family, as well as his "friends in the force". May God TRULY BLESS you ALL through this tragedy. MY prayers are with you ALL! GOD BLESS!
