12 years has not gone by easily, brother. As my kids get older, we talk about you almost daily with them. Everyone wishes you were still here with us, but God had grander plans for you. Make sure you share you green Monster and dill pickle sunflower seeds with him!

I am a recent visitor and saw your brother's street so sorry for your loss. I hope this scripture brings you comfort as we recently suffered a loss as well. "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Rev 21:3,4

Every time your anniversary come’s I think about you and the type of person you were. I hope you know how much you were loved by literally everyone. You made me grateful to have known you through High school and i loved your hugs. You being the tallest kid in school, i think i came below your armpits lol you were the funniest friend I had and i just hope you’re looking down on your wife and child .. you didn’t deserve this. You’re missed .

Damn brother! I just hear tonight about your passing. I am heart broken. I don’t do social media so I lose touch with some brothers. I wish I could’ve done more to have kept in touch with you but I had my own demons I was battling. We were in Iraq together and Twentynine Palms, Ca. Gone but not forgotten! Semper Fi!

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Sad that it's been 7 years and the local news has already forgotten. You are remembered, you are appreciated, you are missed! Rest easy, brother!

Hey J.
Woke up this morning thinking about the times you made everyone smile in our shift. The time Jessica and my wife met (both pregnant). I know you didn't know at the time, but I had never been fishing until the day you and Barkley invited me. We were out on the lake all day and didn't catch anything haha... Feels like it was JUST yesterday. I miss you dearly bro....

I still remember the day I received the phone call, just like I remember those days of high school with you so long ago. You were always very upbeat and happy. RIP

Visited you two days ago, brother, on your anniversary. Hard to believe it's been 2 years already. I miss you all the time, every day... my EOW tattoo a constant reminder, as well as the pictures in my home and my son who bears your name. I shared an "us" laugh with E the other day - we don't laugh like that any more since you were taken - and we never laughed like that with anyone else. I'm at a loss brother, I still can't believe you're gone... I want to pick up the phone and call you, just to hear your laugh and you to tell me "let me call you right back", both of us knowing "right back" will be 2 to 5 days later. You are forever in our hearts and minds, Jermaine. I love you, brother.

2 funerals in 2 weeks for fallen Officers brings to mind how life can just end before you least expect it. Every time I hear about an officer pass it always takes me back to that awful night you left us to go to a better place. I know we should all take comfort in knowing you are in a better place but I can't help and be selfish wishing you were here with Jess and Jr. So much has happened and so much has changed. I know how much JD misses you. It breaks my heart every time he needs a friend and you are not around. You were the only true friend he ever had and he misses you so much. I know you are watching from above and it pains me to know that you are sorely missed. Just know that you are not forgotten and that you are always present in our hearts and our minds. We visit you often and speak of you always so that everyone will remember you and the awesome person that you were. Keep watch over us until we met again. Missing you and thinking of you...
