Reflections for Police Officer Jay William Sheridan
When calamity comes, the wicked are brought down, but even in death the righteous have a refuge - Proverbs 14:32.
Thank you for your service, brother. RIP.

A hero struck down by pure evil. Officer Sheridan was doing his job to serve and protect his community and struck down by evil. God bless his family, friends and the Department. May the family take comfort in the fact that they were loved dearly by a true American Hero. God bless those who wear a badge to protect their communities.

Taking cover... shots fired, then you hear that sound. The unmistakable crackle of the radio, the feared words...'Officer Down'.
One more fallen comrade, the number continues to grow. Sorrow fills one's heart, trying not to let the anger show.
Waging a daily battle, out there trying to win the war. Never knowing what you'll encounter, on this stop or from behind that next door.
One more fallen comrade, is gone and out of our sight. Yet guiding us from up above, always riding on our right.
Prayers to family and friends. Honor the Fallen

To the family and brother officers of Police Officer Jay Sheridan. On behalf of all my family I wish to extend our condolences. Police Officer Sheridan died protecting all of us from the criminals that lurk in the shadows. May God watch over him. We will never forget his bravery. We must have a death penalty for those who have a total disregard to the Shield that protects us all.
