Your sacrifice will not soon be forgotten. There is no doubt that good men and women are alive and will sleep peacefully in their beds tonight because of your willingness to give your life. Greater love has no man than this, than to lay down his life for his friends.
Rest Easy Marshal, your work on earth is done.

Although I never met John, I am sure due to his line of work, he was a wonderful man and an upstanding Marshall. I am supervised by John's brother, Bart. I know there are no words that express how sad of a time this is. I spent hours last night, praying with my family for John and is family and friends. I hope and pray that strong prayer, love, and kindness can help John's family in this most disheartening time of need. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, for which we shall all meet again. God bless and the utmost condolences from the Conforti Family. You, John, will remain in our prayers for eternity.

Please ask God to wrap his arms around you and hold you tightly to get thru this awful pain of grief. I know how you feel since my son was also killed by gunfire in the line of duty.
Pray for help to get thru each day and know that Deputy Perry is now with the other Brothers In Blue and they have a great love for each other.
