This breaks my heart. I hope your assailant is prosecuted to the maximum degree.

It's hard to type this with tears in my eyes. As the mother of twins the same age as your little one, I can't imagine how she will understand and cope without her Daddy.

I wanted to thank Deputy Sheriff Shandon Wright for his service. I do not know him, but I admire his commitment and that of his family to a mostly thankless and continuously more dangerous career.
