Karen, Bruce and Sean .... our hearts are heavy with the news of your loss. May God give you grace during this time of sorrow and may that sorrow turn into laughter as you remember all the wonderful things about Thomas and how much joy he brought into your lives. Let those who are near and dear to you help you now. Hold onto each other and celebrate his life, as short as it was. He would want that for you. You deserve to be proud of the fine young man he became. He will always be in your hearts and in ours. Always remember...
Love to you all ~

Adams you will be truly missed! My heart goes out to the entire Adams family. I remember on my ride along you were at a traffic collision and you tried so hard to keep your "serious face" on and as soon as my husband started walking toward you...there it went...your HUGE smile! You just couldn't hold that infectious smile back! You were a funny, happy, and had the most charismatic and infectious personality! I am truly saddened by such a devastating loss to your family, friends and CHP family!

Officer Adams was the cousin of my wonderful friend Sara Longan. She suffers much with this loss, and therefore so do I. As a medic with the local ambulance service I have been privileged to work with our local law enforcement and public safety personnel. Each one strong, brave, honorable, professional, and completely committed to the public good. I trust them with my life.

Thomas,
I watched you grow from a child into a fine young man and an outstanding servant and protector. Your strength and your kindness brought joy to everyone who had the pleasure to know you. Your departure leaves a void in our lives that will take time and prayers to heal. I know in my heart that the LORD calls us all home when our work for him is complete. You finished early and strong, partner. May the grace and peace of or LORD rest with you eternally and with our family as we cope with your loss.
