11 years later and Glenn and I miss you and think of you often- That's what happens when God puts an INCREDIBLE friend in your life - and that you were! Donna, if you or the children read this and ever need anything please feel free to reach out to us- Altho we only met at the funeral briefly we grew up with Jonathan at the Cathedral and loved his family- I actually joined SCSO recently and one of the main reasons was I wanted to make a difference like Jonathan did- You are missed my friend -

I miss you everyday-even ten years later. I wish you were here to talk too every day. Today is the day we buried Lauren. I am so thankful to God for the time we had. I miss you both. I know you are together in heaven.

Officer Bastock was my training officer when I served in the Stow Reserves. I fondly remember our field work and bonding over BBC shows. He was not only a friend, but a mentor. His advice and guidance continue to carry me through my job each day.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

I knew Officer Bastock from when he did night time security work at the Giant Eagle in Stow. It was a very boring job but I was always glad when he was there because he was so great to talk to. He was funny and sarcastic but never in a mean way. He lent me his book, Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, because he knew I liked to read and thought I would enjoy it. I adored the book, it became one of my favorites and I immediately bought a copy for myself. In the almost fifteen years since I always think of Officer Bastock and remember him fondly when I come across that book on my shelf. I realize it has been several years since he passed, and I offer my belated condolences to his family in the hope that they are happy and healthy.

To those who remember my dad thank you. For him to continually be remembered makes me really happy. I do miss him a lot but it seems like he is still here somehow. And seeing the words you all say just makes sure he will be remembered as a person, not as another name on a old piece of paper. Thank you
Love you dad
