To the family and friends of Officer Jayme Biendl and her fellow officers:
On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Jayne was tragically killed.
To Officer Biendl's family, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in the Bay Area embraced us in a circle of love and support, and I know you will receive the same support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace.
This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the dedicated service Jayme gave to her community and the citizens of Washington, and for the supreme sacrifice she and her family made on January 29, 2011.

Rest with the angels for you are now one with them. Sadly this is another one needing the death sentence instead of life, because he was given the opportunity to take your life. I pray for peace, strength, but above all love, peace, and unity for your family during this time of loss.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Beindl family. Many people do not realize what we do, and the risks we take everyday of our lives. We are the ones behind the scenes. No cameras, no news coverage. The corrections division is unique. It takes a special person to dedicate her life to this job. I sure Officer Biendl was that kind of person.
When one leaves us, we all feel it. God Bless you and your family. And as we say in our division: "WE WALK THE TOUGHEST BEAT." Be Safe.
