I hope that Tom's friends and colleagues "stayed the course" with him over the years. Sadly, many fall away after the initial shock is over. Tom's sacrifice is no less than those who die quickly. On the contrary, our brother's suffering continued. Let's keep his family and colleagues in prayer.
