Step forward now Policeman, you've borne your burdens well. Come walk a beat on heaven's street, you've done your time in hell. Rest in peace.
There are no words that comfort the loss that we are all feeling, the Thin Blue Line is very thick, and we hope that your family will find some sort of comfort from all of our love. We did not have the honor to meet you, but thank you so much for you sacrifice to keep your community safe.

Chris,
It's still too early for the sting of this to go away, and I keep picturing you playing some kind of joke on one of our peeps. May God Bless you and Kelly, along with the rest of your family. They got the bastard and he will answer for this.
Your spirit will live on forever as we will never forget your dedication to our craft.
HEROES LIVE FOREVER!! Godspeed, Brother, you will be missed!
