Reflections for Corporal Chadwick Thomas LeCroy
I last posted in 2022 and will continue to post as Corporal Chadwick Thomas Lecroy will always be remembered as a dedicated and professional Law Enforcement Officer. I hope his family are all doing well.

Lord Jesus, as we watch America’s Peace Officers succumb to the wicked and evil in this world, Shot and Killed in the Line-of-Duty, it becomes difficult for us to pick up and move forward. Our communities are on the brink of exploding with tension. In light of the peace officers who are no longer with us, I pray for endurance for our communities and law enforcement agencies. Carry us through this time of strife, that through our struggles, our bonds may grow even more unbreakable. In Your mighty and holy name, I pray. Amen.
Holy Scriptures on Law Enforcement’s Mission:
“For the policeman [peace officer] does not frighten people who are doing right; but those doing evil will always fear him. So if you don’t want to be afraid, keep the laws and you will get along well. The policeman [peace officer] is sent by God to help you. But if you are doing something wrong, of course you should be afraid, for he [the peace officer] will have you punished. He [the peace officer] is sent by God for that very purpose. Obey the laws, then, for two reasons: first, to keep from being punished, and second, just because you know you should.” [Romans 13:3-5 TLB]
[Jesus Said,] “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” [John 15:13 ESV]
And he [Jesus] said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.” [Luke 23:43 ESV]
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons [children] of God.” [Matthew 5:9 ESV]
“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” [Isaiah 6:8 ESV]

744,
It's been a few years since I last wrote. I am no longer with GSP and now with Coweta County Sheriff's Office. I do however miss my Blue shirts and still keep up with some of them. Alot has changed around GSP, always people coming and people going. My cousin is a trooper now and the pride he has to wear that blue shirt you would be thrilled to see. He is like the old school troopers of course there are few of those these days, but as I'm sure your watching over them.
I am planning on getting on the road soon here in Coweta. I am slightly nervous about it but also there is nothing more I would rather do than serve the citizens of my hometown.
It is coming up on you 8th year anniversary in Heaven and we are still missing you every second.
I just wanted to write a few lines and tell you hello. We miss you

I got the privilege of having a conversation with Corp. LeCroy just a few days before his end of watch. I work at the QT at Lower Roswell Rd. and N. Marietta Pkwy. I had seen him come in a few times but never got a chance to talk to him. That night he stopped in to fuel up for his shift and we had a lengthy talk about me wanted to become a law enforcement officer. I was just 19 and knew I wanted to pursue that career path. He helped me by giving me some pointers and even told me to ask him any questions along the way. He was very helpful and i could tell that he loved the job. Unfortunately I never got to have another conversation with him about the subject. Still to this day, I have not forgot what he said to me. It has stuck with me all this time. He was and still is by far one of the reasons why I have finally decided to switch careers and begin law enforcement. I only hope that I can be half the officer that he was and to take the time to talk to some 19 year old kid working the counter at a gas station about doing something great for not only himself, but also his community. Thank you Corp. LeCroy. I will never forget that night.

What's up man, my son and I take a yearly father and son trip and we just got back from Jacksonville FL. The drive was nice and relaxing. Dylan is always ready for this trips because I let him buy and eat whatever he wants. It rained some days and he wanted to walk in the rain ( so guess what we did) walked in the rain. Remember this is a trip that I allow him to pick what he wants to do. We went over to the beach and watched people fish from the pier and a lot of them were catching sharks. We did fish but came up empty, but it was fun seeing him happy. Ever year we go to a different place and already thinking about some places in 2015 LORD WILL. I often think of your boys and will carry them in my heart everywhere Dylan and I visit. I know your are watching over them and keeping them safe. I hope your are relaxing and not getting on the other angels nerves because we know you like to talk. :-) Well man I just wanted to drop you and few lines like always and we will chat again. LORD WILL sign Paul, Shonterria and son Dylan Stokes

I'll never forget our first meeting. You came to assist us at Ft. McPherson where I was Asst. OPS Chief. Your spotless patrol car and impeccable uniform, while insignificant to many, spoke volumes to me as a law enforcement manager. First impressions are lasting. While I will never forget your name, I will celebrate the sacrifice you made for the people of Georgia every December 27. Gone but never forgotten.

Good morning, Happy Birthday. I know today isn't your real birthday, but this is the day our Lord called you home. I know you had a great Christmas and planning a New Years party with all the other angels. I have my son until Jan. 7, and we are having a ball. I often think of your boys and pray that they grow up and be the man their father was and still is. I have been doing a snow dance but all we got was rain. ( I MUST WAS DOING THE WRONG DANCE ) Well man you enjoy your day and we will chat at a later date Lord Will. Paul and son Dylan Stokes
