It's so quiet at night with you gone. Even with the squad moved to days, I still find myself switching the car radio to Troop C. I just want to your shield one more time. It goes to show how great a man you were that I loved you this much and we never even hung out outside the job. All my trainees remembered you because of your laughter. We had some damn good times brother! You were a great cop, the BEST wingman, and an even better man. I love you and miss you!

We in the Georgia law enforcement community jokingly refer to the GSP as God's Special People. You are now in HIS presence, and I've no doubt that you are truly one of HIS special ones. Rest in peace and sincerest condolences to your family.

Corporal LeCroy,
You've been on my mind lately and I just wanted to let you know. You were always there backing me up and always had words of encouragement and great advice for me that will not be forgotten. You always had a way of putting things into proper perspective and making those rough nights a little better.
The dedication and passion you had were rare and I am thankful that I was fortunate to have an opportunity to work with you. Our conversations in Home Park will remain with me and will be missed. You have left a mark on my life that few can match and for that I am more thankful than I could ever express in words.
Know that you will never be forgotten and that we are all praying for you and your family. The sacrifices you made can never be repaid...
Rest in Peace Brother

Chad - Although I never met you, I have heard nothing but good things about you! Your wife is one of the most amazing and strong women I know and you have two beautiful sons. Words cannot even begin to express my sorrow and how heart broke I am for you and your family. Thank you for ALL you did to keep us safe, you are a TRUE hero!

May God be with your family every second to help heal their broken hearts. I do not know your family and did not know you, however, I've thought of you daily since this awful act against you happened....I am proud to be a Georgian and proud to have such fine people protecting us. This tragedy has broken my heart as a person/citizen and from having trooper friends. Thank you for proudly serving the people of Georgia and sadly, giving your life. May you rest in peace in a place much better than we are left behind in and know you will never be forgotten. To your wife...I was a military wife and feared what you are going through. I pray for God to guide you and your sons and tenderly take care of you and pray people will help take good care of you all too. God Bless.
