Reflections for Corporal Chadwick Thomas LeCroy
Good morning or good evening, I don't know how it works in heaven. My son and I do a father and son trip every year. We just got back from Hilton Head SC and we had a ball. I thought of you and your baby boy and hugged my son tighter. I can appreciate the bond you had with your boys. Dylan is 11 and I am enjoying every moment with him, because we don't know what tomorrow may bring. I went skydiving and I was only 14,000 feet and the clouds were so nice. I know you are enjoying the weather there. Its beginning to get cool here and feels great. They have started putting the blue and gray cars back on the road and you know how it goes, everybody is trying to trade their sold color charger to get the blue and gray. I still have the solid color black 2008 with 116612 miles on it and I am not complaining, because I don't pay for any repairs or gas. Well I just wanted to drop you a few lines or two or three or four. I haven forgot how you helped my in computer classes and I am graceful., I just hope I don't have to get another one, if so I will be messed up without you.Get some rest and I will check in at a late date, Lord Will. Thank you for that kind reflection #149. I did have the honor and privilege of meeting TFC LeCroy, and it didn't take me long to realize what a true warrior he was. From the times he backed me up, to the times I assisted him in vehicle pursuits, I always knew when I saw the car with #744 on it that that it was going to be a good day. I don't think the people of Atlanta ever knew the courageous and skilled job this man did day and night. He was a nightmare to the criminals in the area. I miss him, and I am sure that many others miss him on the Atlanta Police Dept. and the Ga State Patrol..... may your children always remember and know what a true hero you were and the sacrifice that you made #744.

TFC LeCroy,
I am currently sitting at post 24 reading all of the reflections with tears in my eyes. I know quite a few of them that have left some of the sweetest comment and I am proud to be working with them. They are a great bunch of guys. But, I am sure that you already know that. I know you are up there watching over us and I am glad to feel your present with the dispatchers and the Troopers out there on the road risking their life to protect others. I grew up with the wonderful Big Blue and I am proud to be apart of this family now. I am honored to just be sitting here right now. Your story is why I am here, it is why I constantly check on each of these Troopers. It is why I sit here and stare at the map and check the times and do 10-4 checks every 8 minutes. I pray for your family and all these Big Blues out there everyday.
I just wanted to thank you for everything that you have done and I know I never got to meet you but I will one day.
Rest easy 744.
With love.

LeCory,
It's been a while since we have talked, my most rememberable moment of you was the last time we were standing over the trunk of your car after we chased that SUV up Perry Blvd., I was so glad to see that Blue and Gray turn around behind me... He thought he had us but, he didn't... He couldn't get over that fence fast enough... The rest, we know, since you documented it in your report... When the call came out, I already knew who it was...YOU, and I could not accept it... now, I have... But, I do no forget, for you were an unforgettable guy... I just knew you would make it, and I can still hear the radio traffic advising otherwise... But, now, I know that you did... Your dad told me how much you respected us out in Z1, that meant a lot, I just hope you know how much we respected and miss you... We are hanging in there like a loose tooth without you, but one day, it will all make sense... I thank the lord for a real good time, just know I will never forget!!! 1103, show me en route with GSP Unit 744... RIP

What's man, just sitting here waiting on the rain and see how many people rear end someone today. Oh yeah, nothing have changed with the traffic and rain. I didn't want anything but to say hello, and I am glad you stopped smoking.lol Paul and Dylan Stokes

I was working the night in which you ascended from the earth two years ago. I remember radio advising that a GSP unit was stolen, that a trooper had been assaulted. It was soon after that I learned of your fate. Your sacrifice is remembered to this day. RIP Corporal LeCroy.

I guess like father like son, thats what everyone tell me. Man we havent had anymore computer training, thats fine with me, because now the ur not here someone else would have to help me turn it on and off. -:) Just wanted to say Merry Xmas and Happy New Year, my god continue to watch over you and your family. Chad, you were a good man taken too soon by a senseless act of violence. We will never forget you, your family and all the positive things you did to make our State a safer place. May God bless and keep you!

Corporal, I took a plea today (12-10-12) on the case you made at the W Hotel. Your investigation and the case you made was impeccable. Even today, almost two years after you ended your watch, your dedication and attention to detail made a conviction possible. Once again you gave me the tools to finish what you started. You took him off the road that night, and made us all safer. It is my pleasure and privilege to be a member of your team. RIP brother.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
I pray for solace for all those who love and miss you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Two days ago was your family's first Christmas without you and it must have been so hard for them. They are all in my heart's embrace today.
