For Police Officer Andrew Rameas:
The law officer encounters many hazards, but the motor officer has added risk. Each patrol he is subjected to all of the perils of traffic while attempting to keep the public safe and perform his or her duties. Sometimes it is the tragic mistakes of other motorists that present deadly situations. We regret that our brother Andrew would become a traffic statistic during his routine patrol day.
We pray for Andrew's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.
I am proud to render Officer Andrew Rameas a final salute.

From one motor officer to another, God Bless you for your service. Being a motor officer is one of the hardest positions in law enforcement. Many understand how much we love the position, but few understand what it feels like to ride everyday.
Your commitment to your city and citizens is much appreciated. Semper Fi Motorman and God Bless you and your family...Ride the clouds with ease and watch over all motormen each and every day....Semper Fi....

I know of no words that will suffice. No words that are adequate. Being a retired motor officer from the Irving Police Department I know that motor jockeys are a special breed.
I would like for the family, friends and co-workers of Officer Andrew Rameas to know there are folks all across this country that will be lifting them up in prayer before the Almighty.
May you each experience the eternal love and endless blessings of our Lord and Savior in the coming days.
I am very sorry for your loss.
