Me and my squads (Sector IV-Squad 10)hearts go out to the family and friends of Brandons. We are always aware that a tragedy like this could happen to us each time we put the uniform on and report for duty. But it is never easy when it does occur and it is especially hard at this time of year. Brandon will be missed but never forgotten, because he was doing what he enjoyed and that was "Making a Difference".

Of the many many posts I have left on this site for complete strangers, I always seem to have trouble finding words when a post goes to someone I knew, worked with, trusted my life to, and called my friend. Your loss will resonate through this agency and our community for the ages. Your assailant cannot ever hurt anyone else ever again, but in taking the coward's way out he deprived us of both answers and satisfaction...as well as one of the finest deputies I've ever worked with. My deepest condolences to Virginia, your families, and my entire law enforcement family who mourn a fallen Hero. Rest easy, bro...we have the watch from here.
