My heart is broken. May Trooper DeLaittre's family know that we share in their pain, tears and grief every day. Thank you for raising such a good man. I pray that you will feel God's very hand as He carries you through this nightmare. To Montana law enforcement, especially Gallatin County and MHP, lean heavily on one another.

Although I did not know David, he was family......and I did know him. At the memorial service, it struck me how young he was. There were just a few pictures of him as a young man, all the rest were of a boy. He was so young that those who knew him best and spoke of him were high school teacher. It is a senseless and horrific loss to the Law Enforcement family. We all share the grief and our hearts go out to his beloved family. May God comfort us and keep us safe!
