TROOPER DELAITTRE,
THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR SERVICE. IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU WERE DOING THE TYPICAL DUTIES OF AN OFFICER IN A SMALL COMMUNITY WHERE YOU DO A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING TO HELP OUT YOUR FELLOW LEO'S WHEN THIS SENSELESS TRAGEDY OCCURRED. I HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED WORKING BESIDE THE HARD WORKING MEN AND WOMEN MHP TROOPERS WHETHER IT WAS IN THE SMALL OR LARGE COMMUNITY. REST IN PEACE AND PRAYERS FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

Our law enforcement officers are a precious commodity i was appalled that this trooper was assasinated over a traffic stop this is not acceptible to me life is precious and we have lost several in the last couple of years these people put there lives on the line every day for us! We as citizens need to come together and protect our law enforcement personel and respect them as we did when I was growing up. This trooper was a son brother and freind to all now he is no longer here. I have gotten upset with some but i could never even consider taking a life for something as stupid as this. I sat and thought of vengence all night last night and greeved for his families loss and the loss the people of Montana had by a very stupid act! If this assasin wanted to die let him die but dont take another life because of his stupidity

I haven't the words to express how sorry I am to learn of such a terrible event. I know your father and what an awesome trooper he was. I'm quite certain the apple didn't fall far from the tree. You will never be forgotten. You gave far more than I. We are all indebted to you. May the Lord comfort your family.
