As you now rest in peace you should be so proud of your daughter. Although I could not attend I did get to see your daughters eulogy, and I am sure as she made each officer proud she made her father even prouder.
We will never forget!

There are awesome pictures of Officer Flisk on the CPD patrol bike that was shared among his fellow motor patrol family - the bike officers across Illinois are a specialty that attends funerals just like Officer Flisk's -- the brotherhood of officers and officer families shed a tear along side his family - I can't imagine the pain -- This tragedy is profoundly sad - husbands and wives, brothers and sisters will be united tomorrow in the police motorcade just like Officer Fisk has been for his fellow officers - there will be patrolmen and women who have traveled from other states to pay their respects in that motorcade as well - just to witness it will be life changing -- the bitter cold will keep some people away from standing on the streets - but there will still be some folks who will brave that cold just to pay their respects - and it will be amazing - rest in peace officer flisk - heaven has another hero

While it is no consolation for your loss, my heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family and fellow officers of Officer Flisk.

While I did not have the privilege to have known him personally, I am certain that he has found a place in heaven through his selfless service to those he swore to protect.

Rest in peace my friend; those of us who remain will cover your post on the thin blue line.
