For Police Officer Michael Flisk:
Our duty as law officers, no matter the assignment, carries risk that is great. Sometimes police officers are the subject of attack simply because they represent law and justice. We reget that Mike would be the target of a vicious and deadly assault. We rely upon all who wear a badge to give his killer(s) no rest - keeping the pressure strong and steady until justice is served for Mike and his fellow victim.
We pray for Mike's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.
I am proud to render Officer Michael Flisk a final salute.
Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenza (Ret.)
Pennsylvania State Police

Officer Michael Flisk was one of the most kind and gentle of men. We were reflecting yesterday how, in the more than 20 years we've known him as a friend, we have never seen him raise his voice or be unkind to any member of his family or his friends. He was an honorable man who fulfilled his duty with humor and dedication. We loved him and he will be missed terribly by so many people. There will be a giant whole in the world where once this wonderful man stood.
