I've driven U.S.84 on the way to visit my son who is going to school in Denver 5 times already since he began. I saw the memorial and concluded that he lost his life during a traffic stop or an accident. I am so sorry for your loss and God Bless your family and my deepest condolences to everyone that was blessed by his presence. May God continue to bless you and your family for ever.

I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

My reflection would be remembering this little family walking up the steps every Sunday morning at First Baptist in Post. Most of the time Trooper McDonald was in uniform. Such a beautiful family. Honoring his service to our City/County/State. Rest in peace Jonathan.
