My husband, San Antonio Police Dept. Officer Harry James Brackman was killed in the line of duty at the age of 28. Our family and friends, as survivors know the impact of such a huge loss to everyone. We are all extremely sorry for your loss of Officer Bonaminio and we send our heartfelt condolences. In the words of Thomas Campbell, "To live in the hearts of loved ones left behind, is not to have died at all."

What a tragedy. Such a young officer taken in a senseless act of violence. I pray that the suspect is caught and that justice is served. I will keep his family in my prayers. I have a few family members that are also police officers and I worry about each one every day. I pray that his family will be given strength and I hope they find someone to lean on in this hard time. I am sure that he was a great man and I thank him for protecting me and my country.
