With horror, we have read about the violent death of a colleague. Even if we Lieutenant Jose A. Cordova Montanez did not know personally, we still grieve for him. we want to ask family, friends and colleagues of the Puerto Rico Police Department our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to pronounce. Rest in peace brother... My condolences to family, friends, and fellow law enforcement officers.
It is always painful to learn that a fellow LEO has lost his/her life, but it is particularly saddening to see that someone who has served for so long and is approaching retirement has been killed.
The perpetrators of this heinous act will surely pay the price of eternal damnation......
