My thoughts and prayers are with Officer Portz's family. I have two small children and a husband who is a detective with the department. Officer Portz is a hero for the work he did, and the people of Baltimore were lucky to have him. Our men and women of the department put their lives on the line everyday, and it is so sad that this happened. Thank you to all the men and women who do this, and especially thank you to the families who support them. May God be with his family and friends at this time!
