Dear Heavenly Father, please surround this family with your love and carry them through this time of such tragic loss.

I have no direct connection to Trooper Barrett as I live in Washington state (10 minutes from where our 4 local officers were ambushed in Nov. 09). Your loved one was a public servant to ALL U.S. Citizens so we owe him and you our respect and prayers. This was such a tragic loss, please know that the community will come together and envelope you with their support, prayers and love...lean on them. When our community came together last year after loosing our 4 brave officers it was that coming together that helped us all survive such horrific loss. I'm certain that Trooper Barrett will have the same community outpouring of love...may you find comfort in that and seeing how many lives he touched during his short time in our world.

God Bless you and your family...we will be praying for you in the days, weeks and months to follow. Thank you and thanks to Trooper Barrett for the service and sacrifice.
