Reflections for Patrolman Dennis J. Laughlin
Patrolman Laughlin, you left this world on the day I came into it. I hope that I filled the legacy you left well enough to make you proud of our profession. It has been 64 years since you were taken from us. American law enforcement has continued to thrive, learn and become safer due to the traditions and sacrifices you, your family, and many others have made for us. Thank you for your 5 years of law enforcement service.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 52nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.
