Tony, I have heard many great things about you from various Police Officers who knew you, some other survivors of fallen LEOs, and from RIT Security. How horrible this is to have happened and that both you and your partner's families witnessed such a horrific event is unimaginable. Just know that C.O.P.S. is here for both of your families, friends, and co workers.

I see these posts, read each one with a lump in my throat knowing that as I read the senselessness of the violence that ended so tragicly, they leave a legacy of courage, honor and commitment. My heartfelt condolences to the friends and family of these officers. These are a sobering reminder to me regularly that as I hug my husband goodbye each day as he heads out the door for another routine "day at the office", I hold my breath a little and say a prayer. I know the dangers he faces, so does he, and they all face them with strength and courage, and total commitment to the jobs they love. I share your grief, not fulling able to comprehend the depth of your sorrow, but knowing full well I too may someday have to face this reality.
Know you are not alone. There are thousands of fellow officers and their families who care and are praying for you. There is far more good in this world than evil. These officers are shining examples of the best in our society that give hope for a better future. Their memories are kept alive by those who love them and those who continue to put on the badge and uniform every day knowing the danger, and bravely protecting their communities. They stand in the gap for us every day. Thank you just seems to small to express my gratitude.

Ofc. Wallace,
You will be forever remembered. I still see you in the academy with the enthusiasm to learn everything you could from everyone else. Your motivation to become a police officer even motivated me to be better! You overcame so many obstacles to realize your dream. I can’t believe that your dream was cut short by a person who doesn’t even care about life, unlike you did. Through our conversations, I remembered and learned again what it was like to be the best police officer I could be. I thank you for those memories. May you rest in peace.
"In The Line of Duty"
What is the meaning of "In The Line Of Duty"
It means that an officer made the Ultimate sacrifice.
It means that someone took an officer's life.
A hero has fallen.
Officers who gave their all
To protect and serve
Have been killed by someone whom they swore
To protect and serve.
It means that their badge will no longer be on their chest
And they will join
"The Best Of The Best"
It means that family and friends are left behind
To deal with the lost of a loved one.
Only having the memories of that loved one
Close to their hearts.
Something no one can ever take away.
It means that family members will stand at the officers grave, And wonder why ...
Why would someone take an officer's life
And leave them there to die?
If we only knew.
Today an officer will place their badge on their chest
To fulfill the dreams of heroes killed

I was very sadden to hear about Serg: Anthony Wallace. As I've said before being married into the Law Enforcement Family it touche's your heart to hear of another Fallen Officer. A job as serious as this is Pride and very Honored no matter who they are it was there call of duty, a Tool of God and now God has another Angel. We don't understand why life is the way it is but thru Faith & the Oath one take's to be in Law Enforcement alone with Honor they stand by what they have trained for to serve the people. So to all the Brother's & Sister's of Law Enforcement I Commend you & Honor for what you stand for.
God Bless & Stay Gold
