Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Police Officer Leonard Allen Reed

Our daughter Destiney Woodall was a new student at Vista Ridge HS a few years back, and ALWAYS spoke highly of Officer Reed. He was someone that she trusted and could go to for help. Although I had only met Officer Reed a select few times, he is someone that my daughter will always consider an adult that she could trust and I am sure in her future as a parent, she will refer to Officer Reed in stories of her childhood, to her future children.

God Bless you, your family!

To Officer Reed's family - My heart goes out to you. Rest in Peace Office Leonard Reed. Thank you for your service and I salute you.

This news comes very personal to me. My Abilene PD Officer and Husband is currently going through motorcycle training to become the next APD Motorman. APD has also very recently lost a Motorman. Our law enforcement connection is very strong. Lean on it, it's what holds us together. God Bless.

I know of no words that will suffice. No words that are adequate. I would like for the family, friends and co-workers of Officer Leonard Reed to know there are folks all across this country that will lift you up in prayer before the Almighty.
As a retired Irving PD (Texas) motor jockey I know that motor officers are a special breed. I know how much they enjoy riding.
May those loved ones left behind experience the eternal love, peace and endless blessings of our Lord and Savior in the coming days.
I am very sorry for your loss.
