Reflections for Prohibition Officer James Aaron "Dick" Watson

Officer Watson,
On today, the 100th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just as a Law Enforcement Officer but for our Country as well when you served with the U.S. Army during World War I. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Thank you so much USBP!!! I fully support your mission and thank you for all your efforts in securing our Nation.

This man was my great Grandfather. It took 90 plus years to have his name cleared and many research trips from my Mother Kathleen Pringle. She is a hero. She never believed the lies about her Grandfather and it turned out he was so deeply undercover that it took nearly a century for this recognition.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 88th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

My great grandmother was Dick's sister. We had heard this story all of our lives. I would love to hear more information about this (I am also a genealogist). If the person who submitted this information could contact, me, I would greatly appreciate it.
